Custom apparel, one of one.
Tees, aprons, and wearable artworks. Each piece is designed, pressed by hand, and signed. Once it ships, the design is retired.
Custom apparel and creative direction by Justin M. McCahren.
I believe apparel is not about trends or labels, it is about helping you feel empowered in your own skin. One man, one heat press, one vision, every piece designed with intention and pressed by hand.
J. Atomic Designs is the studio of Justin M. McCahren, an artist, poet, and designer working out of the DMV. Alongside the apparel, Justin is releasing a book of poetry in October and offers creative consultation for makers and small brands finding their voice.
Apparel, identity, and direction, all built with the same one of one mindset. Commissions open on a rolling basis.

Logos, flyers, and promotional materials for independent ventures finding their voice. Considered work, never templated.
Direction for artists, founders, and small teams. We work through positioning, voice, and visual language until it feels true.

"A garment, a stanza, a sign. Each made once, set down with care, and sent into the world to do its quiet work."

“Working with J. Atomic on our brand identity was the most intentional creative process we have ever been through.”
“You can feel the spirit in every stitch. This is not merch, it is a body of work.”

Each design is built around a single idea and pressed onto a single garment. Once your piece ships, that design is retired. No reprints, no second runs.
